Mike Judge and Pamela Adlon mentioned in interviews that Johnny Hardwick had recorded a few episodes before he died, so hopefully there will be some Dale in the revival.

This is great news! Normally not a fan of posthumous stuff, but Johnny Hardwick had an entire YouTube channel pretty dedicated to doing things as Dale Gribble. You can tell he really loved the character and wanted Dale to get his time on screen again.

Dale is the best representation of Schizophrenia I've ever seen in anything. I doubt it was intentional, but that's probably why it works so well. Dale's paranoia is a huge part of his character, but is well defined outside of his mental illness
