Hang on folks, this is just approving Delta’s app notarization for the EU AltStore release. This is not a US App Store approval.
Actually it allows emulators on the standard Apple AppStore (after review). Ignited is working of submitting. Edit: source right from Apple’s website. This is the review guidelines for all apps on the AppStore, not just Europe. My guess is that they decided to include the emulators to keep control and retain customers in their store instead of them going elsewhere in EU. And they had to make it the same rule all over to keep it consistent.

Regardless, Riley says in the mastodon post that this blog is sourced from that this is only approval of distribution via alt store.

fuck misleading and click bait titles.
How do I get altstore? Will it work on an iPad?
Installing AltStore on your US-based iPad or iPhone is pretty straightforward, as simple as sideloading can get in 2024, tbh. You will need a PC or Mac to do it, however.

Mine is probably an EU model, I livr in eu
Ah, my US bias is showing. You could still follow the directions in the link, or wait a couple weeks until the AltStore goes live in the EU and get Delta the easy way.
DMA hasn't been implemented yet ugh
I'll wait, and Hope my 6th gen iPad gets the EU treatment
