I mean, yeah. A lot of ICE car chases end when a car runs out of gas, if a crash doesn't happen first. Cop cars running out of gas mid-chase is the most common way that people get away.

Yeah, nothing manages great endurance when you start mashing the throttle.. Does always make me wonder how much they have in the tank when I see that shit, though.
