there is a correlation with men who ejaculate less than 21 times per month and an increased risk of prostate cancer

31% decreased risk and 1 in 8 American men get diagnosed. It's actually more optimal to do 4-7 times/wk compared to less. I wanted to be a contrarian and say you don't have to, and you don't, but it might be worth looking into (the link in bio).

I don't know about optimal, but it is superior (i.e. more optimal) to ejaculating less if your only metric is risk of prostate cancer.
