I recently was sent this graphic, and I’m wondering how this is possible and If it’s an accurate interpretation that 41% of the global sea surface temperature increase that occurred in the last 40 years occurred in a 3 week period during may of 2023. And how this fits in with our current climate change model

~~There isn't enough information in here to draw a conclusion. For instance : was there any time since 1995 where a transient drop of maybe 40% or more of SST occurred ? ... this data doesn't show.~~
