These videos are always unbearable to watch and I can kind of understand less well off bands using it as a way to get more attention, but Pink Floyd?
This is "Pink Floyd" without Roger Waters, who wrote all of their good albums. This is David Gilmour's "Pink Floyd" who made a song in support of Ukraine called Hey Hey, Rise Up (lol) and tried to remove all their music from streaming services in Russia and Belarus, but Waters blocked the removal of the albums he was involved in. The "Pink Floyd" who called Waters an antisemite for criticizing Israel and a Putin apologist for being anti-war.
So yeah, this doesn't surprise me at all.
Yeah I just mean they easily have the capitol to fund a music video and especially for a contest where they have a variety of submissions this is the one that got picked? It's just fucking bizarre.
I have a feeling they were too dumb to realize it was even AI and were just like "woah look at this cool trippy animation"
