Alas, if only anime fansubbers learned from Japanese itself and started using furigana for the words they want to leave untranslated.
"The {Inugami|dog god} is a {Kaminoko|god's child} who protects the {Kouryuumon|Yellow Dragon Gates}, the largest {Ryuuketsu|dragon's den}."
I had no idea Markdown had a furigana plugin, that's awesome. I will use that from now on.
Yeah, I only learned the other day! I think Lemmy added support for Furigana in like late 2023.
