I never fucking trusted Chrome and am bewildered by how it's become the default for most people when Firefox is right there
I always stuck with Firefox but for awhile chrome was significantly faster. It's also kinda the new IE where I have to keep a chromium based browser installed just in case (I'm looking at you trello)
The only thing I heard about Chrome's performance invariably contained the phrase "memory leak"
Then you weren't looking at benchmarks. Chrome was noticably faster for years if you had the memory. It wasn't until recently that Firefox was the fastest again.
