If so that's a huge marketing failure. It makes no sense now that the name and logo have nothing to do with birds.

God Elon is a dumbass if they're still called tweets.

They're called Xeets, and they're pronounced "skeets"

IDK, I think X makes a more "Sh" sound. So you would be putting out a Xeet, on Xitter.

I think the X makes a lateral click sound like in isiXhosa, Elon Musk is after all a South African with a good family history of respecting the local indigenous cultures

I get my understanding from the friend in middle school who taught me Chinese communism is based, actually. His last name is Xi, and I was always told to pronounce it "Shi".
