Yeah this guy keeps showing up in my feed, and nearly every time he does he’s shitting on China. He’s also pissed about the Hugos, despite the fact that the westerners were the ones censoring this past years event and not the Chinese.
Extremely generous read is he’s maybe a hardcore anarchist b/c I did see a leguin thing in there too. Just, like, if you’re an anarchist the west is not your friend
I just unsubscribed from him. Honestly his whole thing seems to be explicitly upholding bourgeois capitalism. The most boring tack you can take when critiquing sci fi. Love to support the youtube sf community, but I'm sticking with Quinn for now
