The yukata (ゆかた) is a lightweight and informal kimono worn outdoors in the summer time. It was originally associated with the bathhouse but now has broader usage in contemporary Japan, or Nihon. Men usually wear yukatas that are dark and drab in color like navy but I think I look better in pastel tones. (◕ᴗ◕✿)
