as episodic tv goes it's no more formulaic than say, an old mech show where you know there's going to be 1 big fight every episode and they only break from that very occasionally.

Yeah, totally. Would it make you feel better that I have tried to watch 6 or 7 Gundam shows and I quit halfway for very similar reasons? Or is it worse desolate
