Any way to force federation of an existing post from a different instance? (ani.social)

I wanted to chat about Dune 2, but the pinned thread over at [email protected] from 13 days ago wasn't federated to this server.

I wound up replying from my lemmy.ml account as a workaround.

Newer posts from [email protected] have been federated as normal.

I should work with communities, too. And user accounts.

Communities might take a really long time tho before the result shows up, as they can take minutes to bring over.
