I don't mind AI being used if it's being used for things like placeholder assets being made or things like coming up with character names. Though, I'm not sure I'd want big triple AAA companies using it to boost efficiency since that'll just mean more cash grabbery, loot boxery, and general enshittification being pushed out quicker.

AI can be a great tool when used less as a magical entity that will solve all of your problems. Though, for me, it actually does solve one problem I have a lot whenever I get an idea for a story I wanna write but never get past the first few paragraphs: character names. I can come up with a solid idea but struggle with coming up with character names and usually end up not being super creative on that front. AI providing a first name is always great so I'm not spending forever letting ideas go to waste because I have no main character name.
