I was driving round the M25 and there was an accident in front of me, I could still get round so I slowed down, put hazards on but drove past and carried on my way.

What's the actual protocol in those situations? I could see all the airbags were deployed, there's nothing I could do for the people inside and for sure getting out on a motorway is a bad idea.

But I feel like I should have done something different. Can anyone with knowledge enlighten me?

People on middle incomes face a high chance of being lower down the income distribution next year, due largely to unstable job markets, an analysis published from Professor Donald Hirsch at the Financial Fairness Trust and Eleni Karagiannaki from the London School of Economics, finds.

Lone parents are more likely to work than a decade ago, but even on middle incomes most of their jobs are now insecure. For singles without children on middle incomes, job insecurity has also grown.

The report highlights the importance of helping people on middle incomes to save. Increased income insecurity makes it all the more important to be able to save for a rainy day. But the report calculates that middle income households building rainy day and pension savings, while also paying back student loans and facing high housing costs, can be left with too little remaining income for an acceptable living standard today.

There are about 35,000 overseas students whom the Home Office accused of cheating in a government-approved English language test they were required to take as part of the process of applying for a renewal of their student visas. The allegations triggered a wave of dawn raids on student flats around the country.

About 2,500 students were subject to an enforced removal from the UK and another 7,500 left the country voluntarily after being warned that they faced arrest, detention and forced removal if they stayed. Thousands of those accused have spent years trying to prove their innocence.
