Glad to see the team get a win tonight, even if KC isn’t exactly the toughest opponent. Cucho’s hat trick was a nice bit of icing on the cake. It’s really sad to see Morris go. He’s the epitome of what a player should be. Who will have to step up to replace him, Cheberko? Matan?

Glad to see the team get a win in league play!

Hopefully this will wash away the disappointment from the FCC match and get us back on track. Good to see Farsi and Ramirez back in action.

The biggest question to me is: Why didn’t Cucho make the trip? More disciplinary issues that Nancy doesn’t want to talk about?

I looked for news this morning, but didn’t see anything. Anyone have any insight?

That was a frustrating match to watch. The squad we put on the pitch didn’t feel cohesive. I feel for Morris because he was nearly the only star not getting rest. It’s too bad that our starting lineup didn’t come in until the 75th minute because the pace of the game changed so drastically.

I suppose we get a point and remain unbeaten at home, but we could have had 3.

I wasn’t able to watch the CONCACAF match with Tigres, but I was following along with match updates. I noticed that Cucho wasn’t in the lineup at all, which I thought was odd.

I found this article from the Dispatch that makes me wonder whether he’s being benched for being upset with the assistant coaches in the Charlotte loss? If so, Nancy is really showing that he’s walking the walk when it comes to focusing on being a team. It also shows that ownership backs him if he’s able to bench an expensive star for two straight games.

It was pretty evident that we were missing our stars tonight. I’m curious about the Cucho decision, but the injuries to Ramirez and Matan don’t help. The pace just wasn’t quite there tonight without them. If only Rossi hadn’t missed that penalty….

Patrick Murphy professionally points out all the issues with last night's sham of an MLS match. 😠 I'm still upset about it ... If you couldn't tell.

This ref is absolutely terrible. There is no way that was a red! There is no way that penalty shot should have taken place! Just, WOW! This is so frustrating to watch!

The Red Bulls had no chance. Morris and Nagbe were on everything in the middle, Yeboah just dominated, and Cucho was all over the place! In spite of the bad refs... so much fun to watch!

Hustle won that match against Chicago. The guys gave it their all until the end. I’m so glad that Mo Farsi isn’t seriously injured because he deserves to be the hero of this match. Of course, you can’t take anything away from Aidan Morris and his defense at the very end. Glad to see Jacen Russell-Rowe having an impact. This team is so good.

My only complaint about this match is the announcers rooting for the referees 😂

Here we go!

Now that this fabulous team has won MLS Cup, there are a few players that have been re-signed already. What does everyone think about our chances of keeping this squad together?

What a performance by the team tonight! They flat out out-hustled Cincinnati tonight all the way to the end.

I cheered so loud that my Apple Watch warned me about sound levels above 90 decibels in my living room!

Can’t wait for next Saturday.

Why, oh why, do coaches feel the need to make substitutions at the most crucial moments of the match? If we had a 2 goal lead, maybe. Not with only one goal.

We totally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory tonight.

Glad to see the Crew get 3 points on the road against NE. It was going to be a close match, regardless. Sucks that Amundsen will be out against Atlanta on Saturday. Hopefully, Camacho can fill in?

(technically)

VAMOS COLUMBUS, DON'T GIVE UP ANY STUPID GOALS!

Had been reported before but is now official, a mutual contract termination. Thankful for him helping us win an MLS Cup, but this seems like the right move for all parties, sadly. ~~Catch him signing in Romania to be close to his idol Andrew Tate.~~

How's everyone feeling? This game is a massive question mark for me. I can't get a good read on how Portland is this year, plus Nancy and Cucho being out makes this game very intriguing.

Part of me says, if we've got Morris ready to go, throw him in there and move Matan in for Cucho - but if he's not available I could also see swapping JRR in for Cucho (though they're dramatically different players).

Rough match ending in a draw from a NYCFC 94th minute goal.
