Idk if anyone else feels this way but I think it's the dumbest thing when people get on a band subreddit and ask where to start when listening to the band's music. Are we really in the day and age where people aren't smart enough to hit the play button and listen to music and instead need to go online for people to tell them exactly what to do? And it doesn't help that the comments are rarely helpful and are super obvious. 90% of replies to these types of posts either tell them to start with the first album or the most popular, and you're telling me that this guy wasn't smart enough to do that on his own? Any way I know that nobody cares but I just felt like pointing it out cuz I find it genuinely laughable

me personally, it’s Hit me hard and soft by Billie Eilish. normally i don’t rly listen to her type of music, although it’s great, i’m more of a alice in chains and type 0 negative type of girl. but when it comes to pop music (which is pretty much what the grammys is focused on unfortunately) think this album is a cohesive masterpiece. the production is unlike anything i’ve ever heard. and her VOCALS have matured so nicely and i personally think she’s never sounded better. this album has no other mainstream competitors in my mind, and it’s made me very excited to see what billie and finneas do in the future but anyways i wanna know what y’all’s personal favorite is this year!!

Ive never been to an Nsync concert. But my millennial heart needs to know if they sang Bye Bye Bye at the end of their concerts cause it’s like saying goodbye. Like “thanks for coming out everyone, we hope you had a great night, good-BYE-BYE-BYE….”

I've had a song on and off in my head for years now and I can't remember the name or the band. This is what I can remember:

  • Late 90s or early 2000s
  • Rock/pop rock
  • cd was orange/white
  • Roller coaster on the cover
  • Most popular song was a sadder song about depression, a girl dancing or wanting to be a dancer/ballerina. I think she had an eating disorder
  • Told the story of several young people, all going through big issues
  • band name was 2 or 3 words

Does this ring a bell to anyone? It's honestly starting to drive me mad.

Your options seem to be: (1) end the band (The Doors), (2) hire a new lead singer (AC/DC), or (3) reform as a new band with a new style (Joy Division/New Order). The New Order story is the most mind-blowing for me. If you listen to Blue Monday, it sounds nothing like any of the Joy Division songs. Were the members of Joy Division held against their will by Ian Curtis?
