Have Bladebit gpu on twin Xeon 2690v4 and 256 gb windows 11. Plots running in c7 are taking about 6 minutes, it's stable and running now 6 hours. Question, looking at the farm gui, the plots don't show up in the count. I ram plots check and it didn't throw any errors. How do I know it's farming them? Is my system broken and it going to force me to install Linux?

Separately, what is the story behind the maximum number of plots you can farm based on equipment. Any good reference on topic would be good.

so i download this mining program called oldschool runescape, then download a 'botting' program (dw it's aprt of it). Then I run 23 accounts at once on my GPU running this bot which makes around 6m $RSGP (Runescape Gold) which you can then sell directly to a chinese guy for roughly $3 per account per hour! This is mental!

A company called miner orb has created a runescape private server that is tokenized and mines kaspa while playing. WTF.

I have old paid off rigs (around 40 gpus) with free electricity, I was mining eth @ 1.55ghz. I started mining kiiro when it came out avg 8-10$/day but now It's dropping like the rest 6$/day.....

I would be happy with at least 10$/day consistently..

$25/day it would be ideal

$50/day would be a dream.....

$100/day lol will this ever happen again?

What would you be happy with?

so my gpu temps (normal temp, and junction temp) are good, they range from 40-49 degrees. The issue is my hotspot temp, when my GPU works under very heavy loads (like generating images with stable diffusion) it rises up to 105 degrees.

I need advice on lowering my hotspot temp, I've done my research and I've found out that ASUS has done a shitti job at placing their thermal pads. I've seen users repasting them but it seems temps can even go higher. I'm actually happy with my GPU temps, I only want to lower my hotspot temp so if someone has idea of what thermal pads should I repaste I would thank him a lot, I don't wanna risk replacing all the stock thermal pads, I would like to replace the ones that will lower my hotspot temp.

have seen that some users claim that placing a thermal pad where the stickers are (green arrow) lowers GPU temp a LOT. The thing is I don't know if ONLY placing a thermal pad there and leaving all the thermal pads as stock would do a thing.

What I'm actually planning to do is placing a thermal pad right there and repasting the thermal paste with artic MX-6. Would that 2 things alone lower my hotspot temps?

Also, what kind of thermal pad should I place? gelid extreme? odyssey? what size? I'm a total noob at this and I've seen people claim that gelid extreme thermal paste requires to be 0.5mm higher due them being softer or something like that

Anyone having issues with these 2 miners for the Radeon VII (KAWPOW)? Out of all the GPUs (post 2015-) I own these 2 miners won't run properly at all with the Radeon VII. But TEAMREDMINER works fine for this GPU and all other AMD GPUs I have.

SRBMINER is showing some ctx error and GMINER is showing some opencl error. Thought it was driver related so I reinstalled the latest driver, same issue.

Like the title says, I have noticed on my rigs that my LHR cards are pulling sometimes over 20% more power than my non LHR cards when mining DYNEX. Running them on a z390, HiveOS, with 1500 core lock with a 300 offset and mem at 2100 (also not sure why hashrate.no says to put at 5k). 3.353 MH across all cards almost exactly. The non LHR cards are taking 94 watts(+/-1) while the LHR are pulling 117, 110, and 109. Noticed this on other rigs as well but this is the only one running both LHR and non LHR on the same MOBO. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this, or knows why? Just switched to Dynex and was kind of curious. Edit* OneZeroMiner

I’ve been mining lots of RVN since the ETH switch. And I’m doing so cause RVN is basically BTC in terms of its tokenomics (essentially digital gold) and can be mined thru gpu. It’s given very consistent returns around 1.00 for a very long time (I have 3 3060ti). I’m wondering if there’s any other coins similar to RVN in terms of tokenomics that also have stable revenue but better returns. There’s been lots of coins that shoot up charts for a few days and then fall off. And I don’t rly want to be changing my algorithm that often so lmk if u guys have any preferences!

So, one old rig died. In current GPU mining world, no big loss but it was nagging me.

Much trouble shooting - turns out the 11 year old CPU fan was 'sticking' / failing.

Motherboard: FM2A85X Extreme4. A dino but still works 5 gpu's.

Soooo - order fan, remove old, install new and ... walla, right ? Nope

WOULD. NOT. BOOT. After a couple hours of WTF ? 99 code non-stop.

I moved the display connection from MOBO to installed GPU.

Bam. All good in the world. Mining as i type.

Wow painful. Only posted for T/S support.

long story short, about a year ago i could put -40% power in MPT and the slider functioned. Now it does not.

Does anyone know when this changed via driver?

Will going back to an old driver resolve this? (Tried 21.10.2 to no avail)

Would i need to reformat because windows driver store or some settings have been updated with a newer driver and thus locked?

Quite dumbfounded that the power slider that once worked, now does not.

First off, is it feasible to even mine cryptocurrency? I am paying around 11 cents where I am at and I want to get into mining. If I can break even, I am fine with that because I do believe the bullrun will happen next year which gives me a year of mining. Second, how easy would it to mine dogecoin? I know that it is a memecoin and there is an infinite supply but Dogecoin has withstood the tests of time and I have little doubt that it will hit a dollar in the bullrun. Thanks for any help and input!!

My organisation doesn’t seem to use NSG and all layer 3 rules are configured within Azure firewall itself

Have other seem similar behaviour ? Is this common practice

I’m security engineer so not sure what are downsides of configuring all rules in azure firewall itself

I wanted to buy some for the Kapow algorithm Neox. They are energy efficient than a lot of the AMD cards I have. Also I am seeing them for 60-80 in my area.

It's for a Riser card (02311TWR) for supported server model 2288H V5. Any advice on where can I buy?
