So guys, go easy on me. First time reading the book. And this is a plea for healp.

I picked the book on a friend's recommendation. But it's so BORING. The prose is simple, and there is hardly anything happening. Does it get better?

Look at the eight parable. Nohadon is talking about having walked from Abamabar to Urithiru. Sure, he writes about taking weeks to reach it. Something about destination, callused feet, which sounds like something of a fetish to the author, and walking alone. But it's so boring. I can't fathom why the ancient kings would read it.

The women comentary at least are hilarious.

And before I get accused of not being a good Vorin, know that I am from Azir. I can read without fear of my privates falling off.

Obviously this series has been building up to a final showdown between Odium and Dalinar. They will be guided by Cultivation through the enemies to lovers trope pathway, and fuse together to become Love. How? Moash's lack of emotions make him the ultimate Top to Kaladin's depressed bottom. Both of them can indulge in their wildest fantasies, and realize that this struggle is over rated. Meanwhile Dalinar engages in an impassioned speech to Taravangian about how the it's not the initial penetration or the climax that's the most important part of love making, but it's always the next thrust. Everyone forgets about all this desolation, fight to the death nonsense, and starts kissing one another.

I've been reading a lot of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Yaoi Fanfiction as inspiration for this theory. I haven't read any of the other cosmere stuff and I spent half the time reading the book fantasizing about Dalinar last clapping swords with his thick juicy cheeks, so let me know if there's anything in universe that would disprove this.
