After a year of good behavior, Brave is starting to show me ads I don't want. Is there a way to disable this or is it time to uninstall?

Hi!

So for a few months now I have a few issues:

• Outlook completely freezing the page
• Confluence pages showing error "Oh, we hit a snag!" on the articles tree view
• Other random issues on pages like not being able to click buttons etc

They all showed up at once. I do not have too many extensions (I have a lot installd but most are disabled). Right now I am actually with ALL the extensions disabled, minus an Extension Manager, and it all still reproduces. Any idea what could cause it or how can i fix it?

About a month ago something changed. And I haven't been able to get into my PayPal. I thought it was the PayPal app. Yeah I realized it has something to do with our PayPal was interacting with the browser. Is anyone know what changed?

For some reason, no links or redirects are going to their native apps, and it's starting to have some issues; e.g., logins to the paypal app failing due to the browser being unable to redirect to the app.

There seems to be no way to fix this, and before you ask, yes, video playback in brave has been disabled.

No YouTube videos will load in the app. Instead they play in Brave. I've changed site settings to disable playback in Brave. I've restarted multiple times. I've cleared the cache. I've also reinstalled. Nothing is helping.

Visit brave://components (in the URL bar) and look for the Brave Ad Block Resources Library item and click Check for update

It should be on version 1.0.54

If not wanting to do it manually, Brave should check for updates on startup and after 5 hours.

So I was watching my show on a ~~pirating~~ site that has a bunch of popups when you click anywhere but when I started using Brave, all the popups went away and I never had an issue until now. Ads are also coming through when I watch YouTube and I've been seeing that other people are also having this issue.

So, I've used Brave for years now. In the past I had BAT that I earned from viewing ads, but it went away because I had auto-deposit turned on or something, where it automatically gets rid of it at the end of the month. Once I learned what this was, I turned it off.

For the past like 3 or 4 months at least I've been using brave and accumulating Bat from viewing ads. I think I was up to about 30 BAT tokens, and my dashboard said I was set to receive 7 more for ads I viewed in July.

All of a sudden today I open Brave and I can't find the wallet anywhere. When I click on wallet or anything with BAT, it says I need to link it to an account on Gemini so start earning BAT, doesn't say anything about what I already earned. I don't have a Gemini account, and have no interest in opening one.

Whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth tbh. I know this is only like 6 or 7 dollars worth of BAT, but, wtf? This does not make me want to keep using the Brave browser, this most certainly does not incentivize me to use or accumulate BAT in any way. Why is this happening and does anyone know how I can get my 37 BAT back?

Hey guys, in the past 2-3 days, brave browser has been very slow on fedora linux. There is generally 3-4 seconds lag when when doing anything. Any tips? Version 1.56.9

I am trying to make the switch to Brave (from Edge) but so far I am having many issues getting translate to work. At first, it just seemed buggy but now it just flat out isn't working. Getting "this page could not be translated" message in pop-up. This is on Amazon.com.mx going from Spanish to English. It was working (for the most part) previously so I can't imagine it's one of the settings. Any ideas?
