Pokémon Fanfiction - Writer used PUBLISH!
This is a space for the discussion of Pokémon fanfiction: story recs, planning / writing advice, worldbuilding discussions, common trope discussion, you name it.
Everymon from Abomasnow to Zygarde is valid.
Allowable Content:
Fics and "Pokémon Fanwork General" such as fan music, fan videos, fan TTRPG campaigns, fan webcomics, etc..., or discussion thereof.

Statement for fairness:
This space is created partly to serve as an alternative to or a potential branching out point to r/pokemonfanfiction, but should not be exclusively for that. We're allowed to be our own thing.
That said, I'm quite not interested on mod work focus: if eventually r/pokemonfanfiction decides to migrate here, or a more representative community emerges on kbin, I'd be happy to share or transfer mod / ownership powers to a trustable admin party, in as much as fedia.io rules allow.

Please consider:
- Posts must be related to making or consuming creative works on the Pokémon fandom.
- Be civil to each other. Pokémon battles is all about taking civilized turns to beat each other's Pikachu up.
- No advertising, obviously.
- No zero effort self-reccing. If you gotta promote your own work, at least do so by interacting with other people / with conversation topics.
- No paywalls, or login requirements. Links to stories or resources must be publicly accessible.
- No unsolicited """constructive""" """criticism""". There's other places to be a jerk on the internet for free, such as Twitter.
- No uncalled disparaging of subgenres. The Pokémon fandom is vast and infinite, and within the vastness we can like different things.
- No Farla crusading. Complaining about Pokémon name capitalization was maybe "cool" back in 1999 when the official in-game capitalization were "
PIKACHU" or "PRZCUREBERRY" but that's literally past century.
