Man gets punished with billions of dollars wow.
But at least he’s gone.
He purchased the team for $800 million in 1999, about $1.5 billion in today's money. He sold for over $6 billion. So he was fined $60 million after everything? That's a rounding error when we're talking about that type of money.
Still bad man gone.
I tried a shot at the math, $60MM looks to be about 1.9% of what he sold the team for. Talk about a very light tap on the wrist haha! I mean a JR Bacon Cheeseburger and some petrol might be 1.9% for me. These people are wealthier beyond belief.
Now can they go back to being Washington Football Team?
I really liked that name and it's a shame they decided against it.
Definitely better than the Commanders
Fuck, I’m gonna miss Synder. Not for the objectively terrible person he is, but for the objectively terrible football team owner he was.
Good riddance
Team can actually move on now. Should be better for the league as a whole.
“Trust the process” commie fans!
I felt like this day would never come. Just purchased tickets for the first time in forever, let's sell this place out like we used to. Left hand up!
