Thanks for the media bias source, a lot of the articles posted here on Lemmy are from pretty sketchy sources, but this one checks out.

Semafor is not a source, but rather a short summary newsletter.

The summary you linked to is based on the reporting of Nikkei.

Semafor is a news site just like Axios is, it does shorten things down though and has lots of newsletters.

And I was just sending an alternative website reporting because when I don’t recognise the URL something comes from I’m immediately sceptical. There’s a lot of misinfo that goes around.

I added their Media bias rating.

But the website I used is very trustworthy for Japan news.

The point I was making in my comment is that Semafor article is not original reporting.
