According to Yahoo Finance, Crypto.com withdrew its lawsuit against the SEC on December 16, the same day its CEO, Kris Marszalek, met with President Trump.

Crypto.com stated that it withdrew the lawsuit because the exchange wants to work with the new administration to improve the regulation of the crypt industry.

It is possible that Crypto.com has, based on comms with the regulator or the upcoming administration, assessed that the likelihood of regulatory action as a follow-up to the Wells Notice has decreased sufficiently enough to warrant a different approach.

According to its roadmap, Crypto.com is about to launch a US exchange in Q1 2025 and has recently acquired an SEC-registered broker to expand its business to equities offerings.
