I have about 500GB of family photos and videos going back 20+ years and I need a better way to store them. We have 2 external HDDs at the moment, both of which are near failing. I thought maybe just a 1TB External SSD would suffice but they're not the cheapest things and I'd really like to have some confidence in longevity.

I was suggested 100gb BluRay Disks stored in a dark, dry, environment which could work, only I'd prefer digital storage.

What options do I have?
