I had tons of live photos on my phone, but with all the pictures I take, my phone's storage fills up fast. Moving the live photos to a USB drive or computer turned them into static images, and the live feature was gone...My solution is to save the live photos in a NAS album that supports live photo backups. Lots of NAS can do this now, like Synology, Ugreen, etc. Using the NAS's mobile app, you can not only back up automatically but also access them remotely. And the downloaded images will still be Apple's original live photos!
