This is really good advice. Practical advice is so often underrated - people look for these mind blowing, life changing ideas, but they don't put food on the table or keep you off the streets. This kind of advice, this is what gets shit done.

This sub is supposed to be something I and my brother-in-law writing down for my daughter as something we give her when she is 18. Advices, thoughts, etc. if I could make this private, I would.

I need a CDL for work anyways and grew up driving trucks so always figured I could be a trucker if shit hit the fan. Not ideal but there's always someone hiring. Also know how to weld, but that one can be affected a little more by an economy wide slowdown (not that his transportation isn't also affected).
