Hey, just a quick post to make a thing clear and maybe make it easier for some people to understand (I mean it in a genuine way)
Mike is an almost 60 yo man, the first thing you loose with age is endurange and speed
Jake is 27 yo, young, had fights before where he fought WAY harder (against wtf opponents too but you get the idea)
Mike wasn't holding back at all
Jake is taller than mike and has more reach too
Fighting a guy with more reach than you means constantly closing the gap between you and him, and each time you do it you get punished with punches so you have to dodge while doing it
Doing that is EXTREMELY endurance and speed intensive
If Mike ended up staying in the middle being a body bag as soon as round 2, it's not because he was holding back
It's because at his age he could not follow that pace at all and probably decided to just tank it
Jake boxed veryyyyy gently too, he wasn't punching hard and spent most of the fight doing nothing
For what it's worth I'm boxing too and even if I'm not a pro at all I can tell you : if Jake Paul wanted Mike knocked out on the ground, he would have been
As soon as round 3 he could have jabbed him down little by little and it would have been a terrible and sad show for everyone to see such a legend push his limits on how much punches he can receives before falling at such an old age
And I'm pretty sure nobody wanted to see that and Jake didn't want to go that far (or it was rigged from the start, you decide)
That's all
I was just tired of seeing people cope and say the match is rigged because Mike lost and would have otherwise K.Oed in the first 2 rounds
The match was definitely rigged, but not in that direction and I respect at least Jake for not making an even bigger sh*tshow out of this
So here is the explanation
Thanks for reading and take care y'all
