Boo. This seems like the first step toward eventually locking down "side loading" like iOS does.
I hope to hell not. It just honestly seems like they are taking the windows "safe screen" route. Just with no option to adjust its invasiveness like you can in windows.
Good excuse to switch to Omnirom or another fork of Android, rather than using the Google-distributed version.
