My wife’s aunt gifted us with 7lbs of ground venison. My wife didn’t know what to do with it so it has just sat in our freezer for months. Today she said “we should just throw this out since I don’t know what to do with it.” And I said “Nah, just set it out and I’ll handle it.” So this evening I go to the store and buy all the fixings and come home and cook venison stuffed bell peppers. It comes out fantastic and tastes delicious. I go to my wife and ask her if she is ready for dinner and she said, “For what you made?! I can’t eat venison… it made me sick the last time I ate it.” I’m gob smacked… why did we keep it for even a second if it’s something you can’t fucking eat?! She refuses to eat them and I feel dumb for trying to show out and cook dinner. Now I have 10 venison stuffed peppers to eat this week and the wife is mad at me for making her feel like shit.
