chinga tu maga

Piture 1: A yard sign with a picture of a former orange president smiling and giving a thumbs up with the words "weird old loser rapist" hand written in red drippy paint over a black background

Picture 2: the reverse side of the sign, a white background with the words "CHINGA TU MAGA" hand written in black and red paint

mods: not sure if this fits here, maybe too close to random pictures, i defer to your judgement and no hard feelings on my part if this post is removed.

update: someone called the police for the obscene language, and im not going to fight the city, so the chinga tu maga side is all black now.

Leave a comment for possible replacement messages, mild language but spicy content preferred

Semi-serious question: Would the u in TU have an accent mark like ú? Does it make a difference grammatically?

The reason for the question is my High School Spanish is a bit rusty so I went to Google Translate to figure out "chinga tu maga". I get what the sign is for, but typed the whole phrase into Translate for completion's sake. Going from Spanish to English and using the regular u, as seen on the sign, returned the phrase "fuck you magician". Replacing the u in TU to the accented ú changes the translation to "fuck you, bitch", comma and all. Just triggered a laugh and a small intrest in Spanish grammar.

Tu - your

Tú - you

Why that makes one bitch is beyond me, though. (Maga means female magician)

That's what confused me, too. Thanks for the answer!
