With Delta and United both introducing free Wi-Fi, will American match? It seems the airline isn't really interested in competing.

Does Delta even have free wifi? I just got back from Japan through them and when I signed up for it I was only allowed to use WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, and something else I didn't have... I can't remember the third. But pretty much if I wanted internet or texting I had to pay 40 bucks for the duration of the flight only.

It's 100% free if you have T-Mobile though, girlfriend has T-Mobile and was able to fully use her phone.

Apparently you need to be a club member to access it, and it's not available on all planes. https://onemileatatime.com/guides/delta-free-wi-fi/
