In early March 2020, my kiddo was sick. It was cold symptoms, but severe enough that we went to urgent care to see what was up. The Dr couldn’t understand why I had kept her home from school. (zerobytes.monster)

She had a runny nose, earache, overall sickness… she was miserable. Why would I take her to school like that?

Also, COVID was just beginning to be a thing. No official declaration, but we were all asked to wear masks in the clinic (previously unheard of).

One week later the pandemic officially hit.
