Agustin Vidal Saavedra and Spencer Blanchard have been quietly animating classic paintings since 2019. Works from Caravaggio, Botticelli, Jaques-Louis David, Raphael, and more have been painstakingly deconstructed in Photoshop and animated in After Effects before fancy GPT prompts.

Saavedra has entered the foray with Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and another called ControlNet with additional After Effects usage in a piece called Gioconda's Dream The only link I have is Instagram, my apologies.
