Loving the app so far!

Having used a bunch of Lemmy apps, I have a few feature requests if you’re so inclined:

I must be missing it or maybe it’s a bug in my app, but I don’t see a way to submit a post to a community.
I love the comment reply system in Avelon, where it shows the post/comment you’re reply to, it’s soooo well done. I’d like a text format/markdown bar added if possible (see Bean).
Would love the option in reducing the size of the horizontal line between posts in the list view (I’m using compact mode), and/or the option to remove the line/gap altogether.
Lastly the scrolling isn’t as smooth as a couple other apps (this seems like a common issue for most Lemmy apps so you’re not alone here).

Overall awesome work! Thank you for your time and effort and I look forward to future Avelon releases!

Posting is indeed missing. Almost ready to test tho, might get it up to testflight today and release next week.
Thanks! Hope you'll like posting just as much, its a bit different than other apps. I've already looked at adding a markdown toolbar, so that's coming eventually. It's a bit of work tho so not sure when it'll be ready.
Have heard this from others too, will probably add a setting at some point!
Hmm, are you referring to other Lemmy apps or apps in general? My general impression is that Avelon is one of the most smooth ones, I've spent a lot of time on optimization too. Which device are you using?

Edit: I do experience some hitching occasionally. iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.6.

Actually you’re right, Avelon is one of the smoother ones. I was referring to Lemmy apps - most seem to have rough scrolling but yea I think Avelon is one of the better ones actually. Sorry about that!

I guess the last thing I would add is adding themes. What we have now is basically accent color changes, but it would be amazing to have some really nicely crafted themes (Dracula, Solarized Dark, etc). As an example, Memmy has a decent nice selection (though I would like to see even more added). Just a wishlist item, not a huge deal but I do love me some themes! Lol

+1 for posting and editing posts. Edit: coming in the future, I think
