I was really enjoying the Freetube desktop client but lately the buffering has made it...worse than watching you tube with commercials. Does anyone know why? I understand that it maybe due to a change in youtube (ala adblockers) or a setting that I have to change, but any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll want to switch instances in the settings. I have to do it all the time too.

By and large I don't have this issue but I believe by default it's setup to change your instance every time you reopen the program. You can also set a static instance if you find one that doesn't buffer for you.
