I think one of the things people need to understand is that the cap obligations the Niners have make a deal like this complicated. It's not just a question of total money, but also when Bosa gets that money, and how the Niners make cap room to make that happen. The deal might require coordinating contract restructures with other players to make space in certain years, so the team is also having to figure out what they can do there too. This will probably be the most complicated contract the Niners have ever negotiated. Good job on both sides for keeping it from getting contentious even though it's taken so long.

They'll definitely have to restructure a few guys as currently they'll be over the cap next year. 2024 your highest paid players are:
- Trent Williams 28m
- deebo 28m
- arik armstead 25.6m
- Fred Warner 24.4m
- Kittle 19.8m
- Ward 17m
- hargrave 15.4m
- Aiyuk 14m
- McCaffrey 14m
I think they'll definitely get something done it's just going to take longer than usual.
