That's a cool knit! Is the knit called drop stich? I have a few knitter's in my life that make me things from time to time and I'd love to request something with that pattern.

Did you intentionally pick the yarn to go with the purple thing your friend is wearing?
Not at all - I actually didn't know for whom I was making the scarf at first. Then it called to me that it belonged to this friend. I went to meet her, and she was wearing the purple overalls. We both gasped at how well it fit with the scarf. It was one of those serendipitous moments!
