Lads what is wrong with people?

Went to view a house, decent but not amazing. Only a 2 bed as well and needs some updates in the kitchen/bathroom etc.

First bid is 25k over the asking price. I know everyone is desperate for housing but jesus christ does this not help with houses going for insane prices.

Honestly feel like giving up at this rate and leaving the country as it feels like i'll never have a place of my own here.
