Accelerator, being one of the few Level 5 esper, has rather powerful ability of manipulating vectors. However, to utilize this ability, it requires massive calculations that is not possible for him naturally. Thus, he is dependent on a choker which he wears which allows him to perform these computations. Unfortunately, this becomes a point of weakness for him, as it has a limited battery life which limits his battle duration and also vulnerable to electronic jamming.

Correction

Um actually ... he was able to do the computations normally. It was because he sustained injuries from saving Last Order which crippled his abilities.

This is a poke at Gigguk's video where he claims that Accelerator's power level is "limited" by the reliance on the choker.
