As great as it is for some huge landowners around Yuma to supply all the lettuce for America, I wish this country would just federally invest in localized indoor growing for things like lettuce. Right now all the startups are in danger of closing down and losing all that work because we are depending on venture capital and easy credit and both of those disappeared. Stop the lettuce farming, stop the ranching too. Arizona's future depends on becoming a place focused on the future and sustaining itself and not being a cash extraction operation
