Seems like hot was the best way to sort for a while, but lately it’s been filling up with inactive posts, some from years ago. Did something change?

They have been tuning the algorithm for that in the past releases, so may be related to that. Also, there is/was a bug where if you don't restart lemmy (on the server) regularly stuff will get stuck at the top of hot and/or active.

That makes sense, figured it’s some kind of growing pain. Wanted to make sure it wasn’t something on my end. I’ve only noticed if the past couple days.

Keep in mind lemmy was a lot less active when this was initially configured. Growing pains.

I also got that Lemmur post showing up on my "hot". Threw me for a loop for about 3 minutes - I was trying to investigate whether Lemmur had started development again this morning.
