I'm thrilled to present yet another update packed with bug fixes, all made possible by the invaluable feedback from this incredible community. Your insights are incredibly helpful for fine-tuning and enhancing the overall user experience.

- Added text size options (WIP)
- Added support for Lemmy v0.19 (WIP)
- Added jump button for comments
- Added the option to block users and communities
- Added the option to show the corresponding instance behind community and user names
- Added setting to manually switch between Light/Dark Mode
- Added âRemember Community Sortâ setting
- Added âRestore Default Swipe Actionsâ setting
- Long pressing the profile tab now opens the account switcher
- Added âSelect Textâ to both the post and comment menuâs
- Added option to translate both posts and comments
- Communities in the search screen now filters NSFW communities by default, unless the NSFW filter is turned on

- Fixed the issue where the âNo Subscribed In All / Localâ settings would be applied to the âSubscribedâ feed as well
- Fixed the issue where the âShow Username at Topâ setting would impact all places, instead of only posts
- Fixed the issue where custom sorting in a feed would reset after the first page
- Fixed the issue where selecting a custom sort for comments didnât have any effect
- Fixed the issue where the link of a post wouldnât be shown if the posts also contains images
- Fixed the issue where disabling the setting âShow Page Endingsâ would result in a missing border before the first post of the next page
- Fixed the issue where if you post a new comment, it would be marked as unread
- Fixed the issue where the âShow All Commentsâ bar would prevent you from seeing the highlighted comment
- Fixed the issue where clicking media in compact post items wouldnât open anything
- Fixed the issue where scrolling to the top by tapping the statusbar wouldnât automatically show the navigation bars again
- Improved active state colors in light mode
- Fixed the issue where a very quick swipe gesture wouldnât register any action
- Fixed the issue where left swipes on a comment item would sometimes interact with the wrong comment
- Improved âMark Read on Scrollâ logic which should cause less false positives
- Fixed the issue where the bookmarks screen would keep loading if you didnât have any bookmarks yet
- Links to posts on other instances now properly resolve to posts on your home instance, meaning they can be opened within the app (WIP)

Honestly, the app is very useable as-is now. The major things I expect in an app are there and they work well. The overall aesthetics seem very nice. The placement of the icons and names/numbers on the posts in the feed all seem to fit together nicely. The scrolling and swiping are very smooth.
I only noticed a couple of small bugs while zooming around the app.

The text slider resets to the default when returning the settings. The actual text size isnât affected, but the slider just goes back to the middle.

The multi-communities will sometimes not load. Not sure if this is instance-related, but one multi will not load with all lemmy.world instances, but another multi with World instances loaded in okay.

The Sort on a multi did not switch, and quickly switched back to the default.

After switching accounts, the subscribed communities and multi lists were still the previous account.

Making a post, I could not scroll down when I get close to the bottom of the post, so I cannot see where Iâm typing under the keyboard. https://i.imgur.com/OY3Me3h.jpg

Also with making a post, sometimes some sentences flash that look like some sort of auto complete suggestions. Iâm not sure if that is intentional, but itâs a little distracting.
Thank you for adding the text size options. I have okay eyes, but enlarging the text allows me to not need to hold the phone so close.
Some suggestions

Add ability to favorite communities and have them at the top of the communities list. Maybe swipe left to Unsubscribe and swipe right to Favorite

I will look into the bugs you mentioned. Reading some of them I immediately already have a vague idea what could be the problem.
The suggestions are also great. Most of these are indeed already on my radar. My first goal is to fix the last bugs and finally push the V1 to the App Store, since I achieved all the basic features that I had in mind for the V1. Once thatâs setup Iâll continue working on adding new features :D
I really appreciate that you take the time to understand and implement the changes that people suggest. And Lemma so far has seemed like a very well-rounded project, so props to you.
Are you planning on posting the App Store availability to [email protected] ? Because Lemma is listed on the pinned post but I donât see any posts made for it yet, and that could be a good place to drop the news.
My TestFlight is now showing âTester Removedâ.
