This is a classic. It gave jobs and celebrity to people that otherwise wouldn't have had that. It showed that people with disabilities could still kick ass. It is the antithesis of handicap invisibility. Also it's freaking awesome. .

Yeah, TCM showed it as part of their Disability Reclaimed series, which is why I watched it. It walks the line of exploitation and empowerment. It's fascinating on that level.
Looks interesting. Sounds like it has a similar vibe as Kung Pao Enter the Fist. Any other poorly dubbed films you'd recommend?

Oh, New York Ninja is technically dubbed. That is a film shot in the 80s and released in 2022. Go check out the backstory on it, it's really interesting.
