What app you using for Lemmy? I tried Thunder (https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder), looks good but pretty limited. Unable to edit posts, unable to reply, upvote comments, etc.

Oh, gestures. Didn't know about that. Thank you!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

If you don't like the gestures (like me) the most recent version has options to turn them off and give you buttons instead. For me thunder is nearly there in terms of being the experience I want. I wish it handled that back button better, but all the other apps like Jerboa also suffer poor back button behaviour too.

Replying to this from the comment section using Thunder.

Yep, I learned about the gestures 😶‍🌫️

Imo Liftoff is the best one currently

I'm also waiting for Boost to get released

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I doubt Boost is going to be open source, given that the reddit client wasn't.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Well, maybe I'll stay with something else that's foss then. But sadly all clients feel somewhat lacking rn

I'm sure that'll change over time though

I use these

There's a PWA client, but I don't use it

Connect for Lemmy is proprietary.

Fair point. It's due to be open source but isn't yet, I forgot.

Currently, I think Liftoff is the best, and it's what I use.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Jerboa for me! Maybe dropping to for sync even if not open.

Does any of the apps have a way to filter out keywords?
