To be tried out obviously, but a. it's underlying distro is Ubuntu and b. it's Gnome so i'd make a 10 to 1 bet it has a Wayland session, probably even as default. And Wayland on Gnome is/was a bit smoother than KDE (although i personally can't tell the difference anymore. Should be good to go.
@TheSaigoneer darn it, I'm so curious now, probably I'll be disappointed because the distro doesn't have orca on the install medium again, or something like that, but A, worth a try I guess. But yeah, gentoo first
