Damn, some of you must have pretty chill lives if paying attention to what level your battery charge is at DAILY is something you want to add to your plates. I mean sure, if there was a setting that allowed you to have the phone automatically cut charging at 80% this might be worth thinking about. But when I charge my phone its during times when I dont have to think about it (Aka 90% of the time, when I'm asleep)

You’d be surprised. I read about this s couple of years ago and when I got a new company iPhone 2 years ago I started doing the 80%. I’d charge it while chilling in th evenings and after a couple of weeks you just “know” when it hits 80%. Like when you set your alarm to 3:40am to catch that fucking 6am flight and you wake up at 3:38am

After two years my phone’s max capacity is at 95%+. No idea what it means, no idea if it matters but I did it and that’s that.
