My first first learning project on @godotengine after the 2D tutorial. Not playable yet but looks cool. Doesn't it? Textures need work but not so bad for fast sketchs in @krita and @inkscape

@lovoki @godotengine @inkscape @krita LOL. That is precicely the same game I started to recreate after I worked through a lengthy tutorial. XD

Is there a chance you made this because you are not satisfied with the state of the official game any more? :P

My motivation: i like the game and know the rules pretty well so I can focus on learning how Godot works.

I know existing implementations have high and lows on multi device, usability or freedom but i am not even pretending having a full working game. Indeed one solution to get something playable could be relying on a Pioneers sever and just being a nice usable facade.

PR's welcome from anyone to join. I'll be coding till Tuesday (holidays end).
