  • Brush: Maggard 24mm SHD Bulb
  • Razor: GEM MM24
  • Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (4)
  • Lather: Chiseled Face - Ghost Town Barber - Soap
  • Post Shave: Chatillon Lux - Nefertiti - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: House of Mammoth - Mood Indigo - Balm
  • Fragrance: Barrister & Mann - Lavender, Interrupted - EdP

Switched from the Clog-Pruf to the MM24. Weird. I thought I remembered the Clog-Pruf being smoother, but the MM24 felt so much better. I really don't have enough experience with GEMs to know what the heck is going on, but today's shave wasn't so bad.

Do you have the regular Clog-Pruf (or in @[email protected]'s preferred spelling: "Kløg-Prüf") or the Peerless?

Wait there’s different Clog Prufs now? I thought I only had to deal with different OCMMOCs.

Yes, two generations with different guards. You can see the evolution towards the Flying Wing if you squint.

I'll try to remember to take some pictures tonight

The full Micromatic lineup AFAIK:

from right to left, Ockmock gen 1 (no blade bumps), Ockmock gen 2 (blade bumps), Kløg-Prüf gen 1 (13 big teeth), Kłög-Prūf gen 2 "Peerless" (17 small teeth), Flying Wing
