Let's just make minimum wage 100k a year. Problem solved. Right?
There are some who think that’s a perfectly acceptable wage for just existing and contributing nothing to society. But they’re wrong and it will never happen.
If the cons ever get into power, things are going to shift in significant ways away from the idea of the government being required to care for everyone.
People who are unable or unwilling to contribute to society will be kicked to the curb and suddenly they’ll know how good they’ve had it for the last decade or so when they’ve been whining about it.
I’m generally left leaning but things are way too far left and nanny government right now.
Nobody “deserves” to live in the lower mainland. You should only make it here through hard work, luck, or having the proper connections, or live elsewhere.
Least braindead middle class vancouverite.
You know the working class, the people who build the roads, maintain the infrastructure, drive the public transit, clean the buildings, serve your food all need to live somewhere too right?
The rich in Vancouver are becoming so arrogant and stupid they must be taught a lesson soon. If the conservatives get into power, the homelessness will become worse, but God willing the class warfare will intensify.
Way too many ignorant fucks feel comfortable shitting on the people actually keeping society running while you work a bullshit office job. Fuck yourself.
Triggered? Pity. I’ll block and disregard you as well.
